3 FREE Procedural Redshift Materials from Virtuallyvisual
As promised, here are 3 of the materials from my Variety Pack for FREE!
These materials are not only beautiful as a stand-alone material; they’re also easy to customize, and completely procedural. Below you’ll see the names of these three materials listed, along with what is editable from the attributes panel. For those who are familiar with the node editor – feel free to go in there to change extra things as you please (but you can also reach out if there’s something you feel should be editable from the main attributes menu and I’ll see what I can do! :)).
TERRAIN (an earthy, map-like material with high displacement texture). In this material you can edit:
- Noise type (dropdown selector)
- Noise scale
- Noise contrast
- Ramp colors (can also choose from existing preset options)
- Subsurface colors
- Subsurface amount/depth
SUNSET (a metallic OR non-metallic option that allows for seamless mixes of color gradients). In this material you can edit:
- Colors (
- Noise sizes (two main noises make up the color gradients)
- Mask size (a noise that basically determines which of those color gradients appear where on the material)
- Metallic amount
- Subsurface colors (more visible with little-no metallic amounts)
- Subsurface amount/depth
Rollerskate (a funky speckled material that allows for a lot of custom pattern creation). In this material you can edit:
- Noise size
- Noise seed (randomize the pattern variety)
- Colors (via ramp options – can likewise choose from existing presets)
- Subsurface colors
- Subsurface amount/depth
I hope you all enjoy the materials! As a final note; these will only work with redshift, obviously, and currently only inside C4D to my knowledge. More is definitely to come!
